Export The Accounts Template
Click on Accounts
On the left-side menu, in the Import / Export section, click on Import Accounts
Click on Excel import template
The file will auto-download

tip #2 - for an easier import, if it's a big job, small batches help make it more manageable
Update The Spreadsheet
Delete any optional columns and line items of data that won't need updating
Add your New Accounts
Account ID -- please leave this column blank for brand new accounts
Save your file
Import Your New Accounts
Click on Accounts
On the left nav, in the Import / Export section, click on Import Accounts
Upload your file
Select the appropriate parameters
Click on Import
