**Before you can batch import, you will first want to perform an export of current pricing and edit the file.**
Export Pricing:
Enter the Wines tab
In the left sub-navigation on the left side, find the Import/Export section
Locate the Prices sub-navigation
Click on Export Prices
Click the box to show disabled prices, or leave it blank only to see active pricing
Select detailed or basic export
Click Export
We currently support two Excel formats, a Detailed and a Basic format. In most cases, you probably want to consider the Basic format.
Note: Not all export columns are updatable. Several only exist for your reference. Please refer to the Import Wines Prices screen for more information
Basic Format
This Excel format is fairly simple. You can see the columns required by going to the upload screen.
Click on the Wines tab
On the left, click on Import Prices
Now click on the Basic tab
Required columns are:
A – Upload type
B – Wine Code
C - Wine Name
D - Price Label
Description of Columns
Price Label: the full name of the price, examples: Case Price, Frontline, BTG
Privacy: whether the price is public or private. Please see this article for what this means
Sort Order: the order you would like this price displayed when multiple prices are shown for this Wine. The value is a number, and the sorting is done from lowest to highest. Example: if you have two price points: "Case Price" and "Case 5 Price," and you want to show them in that order, then you could use a Sort Order value of 1 for the first price and 2 for the second.
Account Name: the full name matching a Vinosmith Account to lock this Price to this Account
Price Book Label Abbreviation: If using comma-delimited prices on the Price Book, the Price Book Label Abbreviation will be appended to the price. For example, if you have a Frontline price, if you used an abbreviation of "FL," the price would look like this $110/FL
