Please keep in mind that organizations with QB integration probably won't need to use this option to create new items.
Vinosmith provides a Clone function. The core properties of the source wine are cloned into a copy, and you can then make all of your needed changes.
Please note: Vinosmith will auto-generate a unique Item Code, which you can then update as needed.
How to Clone an Item:
Pull up the source Item you would like to copy.
On the left, click on the link for Clone Wine
Edit the wine name, wine code (a new code is auto-generated, but you can change it), and vintage
Select Properties to Clone
Options include Appellation, Warehouses, Prices, Varietals, Images, Attachments, Notes, and Awards/Points
Your new cloned item is created, and you are taken to the copied version
