How to Merge Duplicate Accounts

You can easily migrate account data by following the steps below.

Please note that this action is irreversible.

  1. Navigate to the Accounts page

  2. Select the Account you want to keep

  3. In the left-hand navigation, click History

  4. Next click Merge Others

  5. Search for the other account (victim) to merge into the current one (keeper)

  6. Confirm to perform the merge

  7. The victim account is now an empty account that is renamed and disabled (not deleted)

The set of data that is migrated:

  • All top-level account properties

  • Contacts

  • Tastings

  • Communications

  • Orders

  • Attachments

  • Notes

  • Allocations

  • Wine Interests

  • Additional Addresses

  • Keywords

  • Sales Rep Assignments

Note: The logic never overwrites a keeper property. It sets it if the property is blank.
