How to Enforce Pricing Based on Account Premise

Vinosmith has the ability to enforce an Account's premise type to a sub-set of all Prices on any single Wine based on that wine's premise ("On-Premise" "Off-Premise" or "Any.")

Important

Make sure to set up the Account AND Price Premise data before enabling this feature. Accounts and Prices can be updated via the batch update flow.

Enable the Enforcement

From your management screen, click Edit in the left and then toggle the checkbox for Order Entry: Enforce Account Price Premise.

How it works

During order entry, select an account, then choose a wine and the pricing premise is enforced. If a Price is tagged as Premise = Any then it will be allowed for an Account that has On-Premise or Off-Premise types.

For example, if an Account is tagged as On-premise (or a subset of On-Premise types like Restaurant), only prices tagged as "On-premise" or "any" will be available in the pricing drop-down. If there are Prices with a different premise type than assigned to the Account, those Prices will not be shown.
