To edit these details manually:
Go to the individual wine page, click Edit in the top left
On this next page, scroll down to the Origins section and select/update the values (described in detail below). Select you.
Click Save
Origin Wine Properties Descriptions:
Classification - This is an open definition for the user. It could be Grand Cru, Premier Cru, or whatever classification you wish to give.
Single Vineyard - Vineyard name
Appellation - Appellation name
Sub-Appellation - Sub-Appellation name
Region - Wine Region, if you do not see one you are looking for, let us know, and we will happily add it!
Country - The country where the wine is from. If you do not see one you are looking for, let us know, and we will happily add it!
Category - Wine, Beer, Fortified Wine, Cider, Spirit, Sparkling Wine, Non-alcoholic, Natural
Piquette or Other. If you need something else, let us know!
Product Type - Over 40 product types are listed. Examples include Agave, Bitters, Gin, Ready-to-Drink, Red, Red Blend, Rose, Sake, Tequila, Vodka, White, White Blend, etc.
Alcohol % - How boozy is that juice?
Vinification - How was the wine made?
Aging - How did they age it?
Vineyard - Stores the scientific facts about the vineyard, such as soil type, orientation, drainage, trellising, etc...
Tasting Sheet Display - A block of free-form text that will display at the top of the content section for the individual wine. This is the opportunity to tell a little bit of the story of this wine, winemaker, etc., things not outlined in the above items.
Farming Practices - How green is your wine? Options available are:
Sulfer (free text field), Organic, Certified Organic, Regenerative Organic, Biodynamic, Sustainable, Vegan, Certified Sustainable by LIVE
To batch upload:
Go to the Wines page
Scroll down to Import/Export Properties on the left-hand side
Click Export Properties
Update the wine properties in the Excel document you downloaded and save
To upload the wine properties go back to the Wines page
Select Import/Export on the left-hand side
Go to Properties and click Import Properties
Choose the file you would like to upload and attach
Please note, if you are populating Vinification, Aging, Vineyard, and Tasting Sheet Notes to be included in the tasting sheet template, keep the length concise so as not to eat up too much real estate on the tasting sheet.
